Viromed Medical AG Secures ISO 13485 Certification for ViroCAP® Launch
Viromed Medical AG has announced that it received the ISO 13485 certification, marking its official status as a medical device manufacturer. This certification allows the company to market ViroCAP®, a mobile medical device aimed at treating skin diseases. The launch is scheduled for October 2025.
The CEO of Viromed, Uwe Perbandt, stated that this milestone will enable the company to introduce products independently, creating new revenue opportunities and a competitive edge. The certification aligns with the European Medical Device Regulation, verifying Viromed’s quality management system.
