Vision To Learn Expands Iowa Program to Quad Cities with Key Partnerships

In Davenport, Iowa, Vision To Learn, the largest provider of school-based vision care in the U.S., has extended its services to the Quad Cities area in partnership with United Way Quad Cities and Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation. This initiative marks a significant development for the organization, which has been providing eye care to children at no cost. With this expansion, Vision To Learn aims to address the vision needs of more children, enhancing their educational opportunities and overall well-being.

The launch in the Quad Cities included providing new glasses to over 30 students at Fillmore Elementary. Vision To Learn's founder, Austin Beutner, emphasized the importance of equipping all school-going children with necessary resources, including eyeglasses, to aid their success in both academic and future endeavors. Rene Gellerman, President of United Way Quad Cities, and Suzanne Heckenlaible of Delta Dental of Iowa, echoed the significance of addressing child vision issues early to ensure they can fully participate in learning and have a better chance at shaping their futures.
