Vivendi: 2024 share buyback program
On May 31, 2024, Vivendi published a supplement to the description of its share buyback program, authorized by the General Meeting of April 29, 2024. This program is implemented by delegation from the Management Board on April 29 and May 30, 2024.
Between April 30 and May 6, 2024, Vivendi repurchased 1,052,865 shares, representing 0.10% of its share capital. As of May 31, 2024, the company holds 1.54% of its capital, or 15,812,841 shares.
The program aims to repurchase a maximum of 10,000,000 shares, or 0.97% of the capital. The shares will be canceled, covered for performance share plans or used for employee shareholding operations.
The maximum purchase price is set at 16 euros per share, and the duration of the program is 18 months, i.e. until October 28, 2025. Vivendi had previously repurchased 13,000,000 shares of its share capital during the 2023-2024 program. .
