Vivendi: Progress on the Split and Investor Events for Canal+ and Havas
Vivendi announces that it will hold a General Meeting of Shareholders on December 9, 2024 to vote on the separation of Canal+, Havas and Louis Hachette Group. Canal+ is preparing to list on the London Stock Exchange on December 16. It expects moderate revenue growth in the medium term, despite challenges related to the shutdown of the C8 channel and contract terminations. Adjusted EBIT margin is expected to improve thanks to operational efficiency.
Havas, meanwhile, is targeting an entry on Euronext Amsterdam and forecasts moderate growth in net revenue in 2025. Its adjusted EBIT is expected to exceed €330 million in 2024. Louis Hachette Group plans to maximize value creation and distribute regular dividends. Vivendi, remaining on Euronext Paris, is considering extraordinary dividends to improve its attractiveness.
