Vivendi updates its share buyback program
On June 21, 2024, Vivendi presented a supplement to its share repurchase program, initially authorized by the Combined General Meeting of Shareholders on April 29, 2024. This program, managed by the Management Board, made it possible to repurchase 5,407,259 shares since its implementation, representing 0.53% of the current share capital.
Vivendi now holds 20,167,235 shares, or 1.96% of the capital, divided between cancellation, coverage of performance share plans and employee shareholding operations. The buyback program is increased from 10 to 25 million shares, or 2.47% of the capital.
The program will run from June 24 to July 25, 2024. The Meeting set the maximum share of the share capital that can be held by the company at 10%, and the maximum purchase price at 16 euros per share. The duration of the program is 18 months, until October 28, 2025.
