Vulcan Minerals Initiates Drilling at Colchester and Updates Exploration Plans

Vulcan Minerals Inc., a company specializing in base and precious metals exploration, has announced the commencement of drilling at its Colchester Property in Newfoundland. This update follows the completion of an Induced Polarization survey targeting volcanic massive sulphide copper-gold deposits. A five-hole drill program is underway at the McNeilly zone, aiming to explore IP anomalies linked to mineralized areas.

In addition to its activities at Colchester, Vulcan has made progress at the Carbonear site, highlighting the property's potential for sedimentary exhalative zinc-lead deposits. Recent sampling of historic drill cores confirmed significant zinc and lead mineralization, indicating a promising sedimentary system. A ground gravity survey identified promising geological zones, bolstering plans for further drilling in 2025.

Fieldwork at the Springdale project also showed potential gold findings, with samples yielding notable results. These efforts underline Vulcan's strategic focus on developing its Newfoundland mineral assets. As exploration continues, the company's updates provide insight into potential resource expansions.
