Western Alaska Minerals Announces Update on Illinois Creek Project with NI 43-101 Report Filing

Western Alaska Minerals Corp (WAM), based in Tucson, AZ, has officially published and filed an updated NI 43-101 technical report for its Illinois Creek (IC) Project in Alaska, USA. The report, dated April 2, 2024, highlights the promising high-grade silver-lead-zinc initial resource found at the Waterpump Creek zone and is available on SEDAR+. Kit Marrs, President and CEO of WAM, expressed the company's focus on validating the substantial scale potential of the carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) through advanced modeling.

The technical report revises the initial mineral resource estimate for the Waterpump Creek (WPC) zone, making minor adjustments that do not materially impact the grade or tonnage estimates. It also provides a detailed sensitivity analysis of the mineral resource to different cut-off grades, showcasing the stability and potential of the deposit.

This update further reinforces WAM's commitment to advancing a scalable CRD, aiming to reshape the mineral landscape of western Alaska.
