Wolftank Group Secures €10 Million in Hydrogen Projects
Wolftank Group AG has announced new hydrogen-related orders amounting to €10 million. This strategic move includes the development of hydrogen filling stations for public buses in Carinthia and South Tyrol and marks an expansion into hydrogen refueling for construction machinery.
In Villach, Carinthia, Wolftank Group is constructing a hydrogen filling station for 35 buses, valued at €5.3 million, under a contract with GUTMANN GmbH. Additionally, a similar project in Merano, South Tyrol, will serve 15 buses, valued at €3 million.
Furthermore, Wolftank is venturing into a new segment by launching a hydrogen refueling project for construction machinery. A station will be installed at an Austrian quarry for a hydrogen-powered wheel loader, marking a contract worth €1.8 million.
CEO Peter Werth highlighted hydrogen as a crucial solution for decarbonizing hard-to-electrify industries.
