World’s First '100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS' Exhibition Boosts Footfall at Victoria Dockside

Hong Kong's Victoria Dockside welcomed the world's first "100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS" exhibition, driving a 30% increase in footfall and a 60% rise in tourist membership sales at K11 MUSEA during the opening weekend. Unveiled on July 13, the exhibition features the world's tallest inflatable Doraemon figure and over 30 life-sized sculptures, transforming the harbourfront into a nostalgic cultural hub.

This event continues Victoria Dockside's trend of hosting significant cultural happenings, including the Louis Vuitton Men's Pre-Fall 2024 Show and annual K11 Art Karnival. These events have consistently elevated sales and visitor numbers, with a 40% increase in year-on-year footfall noted in the second half of 2023.

The Hong Kong government’s support of mega events is projected to attract 1.7 million travellers and contribute HK$4.3 billion to the economy.
