Aurise Foundation Introduces XAUE Yield-Bearing Gold Token
On April 22, 2026, Aurise Foundation unveiled XAUE in Panama City. This innovative token offers yield generation for Tether Gold (XAU₮), targeting institutional market participants. XAUE transforms gold, traditionally a non-yielding asset, into a programmable on-chain resource, enhancing its capital efficiency and usability.
Initial commitments from ecosystem partners Aurelion and Antalpha include 16,052 XAU₮ (approximately $76 million). XAUE aims to integrate with decentralized financial protocols, potentially becoming a central collateral and settlement asset within blockchain finance.
Gold's function as an inflation hedge is notable, but lacks liquidity. XAUE addresses this by maintaining exposure to XAU₮ while adding a yield mechanism. This token supports a monotonically increasing exchange rate, with an illustrative 2% annual yield growth measured in gold units.
