Nebius Group Reports Significant Revenue Growth Amidst Operational Challenges
On February 20, 2025, Nebius Group N.V. reported substantial financial growth for the fourth quarter and entire year of 2024, overcoming significant operational losses. The Group's Q4 revenue surged by 466% from the previous year, largely due to a booming AI infrastructure sector. However, challenges persisted, with adjusted EBITDA losses totaling $75.5 million and net losses from continuing operations reaching $136.6 million for the quarter.
Throughout 2024, Nebius achieved a 462% revenue increase, amassing $117.5 million, while grappling with a comprehensive EBITDA loss of $266.4 million. Despite these hurdles, the company's cash reserves remained strong, totaling $2,449.6 million by the year's end. Nebius made considerable strides with new U.S. and European GPU deployments, enhancing their AI infrastructure footprint.
Key financial efforts included a successful $700 million capital raise in December, bolstering Nebius’ expansion into AI infrastructure. The company also launched AI-native cloud platforms, despite their ARR performance slightly underachieving due to prolonged customer acquisition phases. Nevertheless, significant future ARR projections suggest strong potential growth.
