Qatar's Years of Culture Initiative Unveils Future Partners

The Years of Culture initiative, based in Qatar, has revealed its cultural partners extending through 2030. Following existing partnerships with Egypt and Greece for 2027, future collaborations will include Italy in 2028, the Netherlands and Switzerland in 2029, and Portugal and Spain in 2030.

Initiated in 2012, the program fosters cultural understanding and international relations through diverse fields, such as art, music, and education. It operates on the belief that cultural exchange strengthens ties across borders.

Key events will feature Qatar as Guest of Honour at the 2027 Cairo International Book Fair and the opening of Qatar’s national pavilion in Venice in 2028. These collaborations will drive cultural exchange and enhance Qatar’s global creative scene.
