YMCA Announces National Healthy Kids Day for 2024 Sponsored by Peanuts

On April 20, 2024, the YMCA will host Healthy Kids Day with events planned across all 50 states, as well as in D.C. and Puerto Rico. This national initiative aims to foster an environment of healthy habits and physical activities for children and their families. Over 1,400 YMCA locations will provide a variety of activities, including sports, fitness demos, family yoga, cooking demonstrations, and more, designed to keep the young participants both mentally and physically engaged.

This year, the event enjoys a new sponsorship from Peanuts, highlighting a partnership that aims to boost summer camp access and conservation programs. The collaboration fittingly coincides with the 50th anniversary of Beagle Scout Snoopy, a character celebrated for embodying outdoor adventure and fun. Not only for 2024, but Peanuts will also sponsor the event in 2025, celebrating the 75th anniversary of Peanuts.
