Zalando Moves Towards Squeeze-Out of About You Stakeholders

Zalando SE has obtained over 90% of ABOUT YOU Holding SE's share capital, excluding treasury shares, via its public takeover offer. This acquisition signals Zalando's intention to initiate a squeeze-out of ABOUT YOU's minority shareholders. The final results of the offer will be disclosed on March 11, 2025. Regulatory approvals are pending, with the offer closing expected in summer 2025.

Zalando aims to integrate ABOUT YOU into its operations through a merger or reach 95% ownership to facilitate a direct squeeze-out. In both scenarios, minority shareholders will be compensated in cash, with the exact compensation amount to be announced later.
