ZEAL Network SE Hits Five-Year Revenue High in 2023 with Double-Digit Growth

ZEAL Network SE, a leading German online lottery provider, has announced impressive financial results for 2023, marking a year of significant growth. The company reports a double-digit increase in billings and revenue, reaching €843.3 million and €116.1 million respectively. This growth signifies an expansion in the market share and the successful launch of a new online games business, achieving billings of about €42 million.

According to Helmut Becker, CEO of ZEAL, the company's market leadership has been further solidified, thanks to strong brand performances, like LOTTO24, and a record number of winner productions last year. CFO Sebastian Bielski credits the growth to the attractive and innovative product range that continues to draw in and inspire customers. Additionally, a focused expansion of marketing activities has contributed to the growing customer base, fostering confidence in future business prospects.

The financial report also celebrates the company's success in initiating its online games offering through LOTTO24 AG's web stores. Despite increased investments in brand development and the online games launch, ZEAL achieved a new five-year high in EBITDA at €32.9 million. Looking ahead to 2024, ZEAL anticipates further growth and expansion, with expected revenue between €140 million and €150 million, and EBITDA projections in the range of €38 million to €42 million.
