zkPass, a leading oracle protocol for verifiable web private data, has completed a $12.5M Series A funding round. This funding aims to advance the development and adoption of the zkTLS oracle solution, which facilitates secure cross-ecosystem data exchange using advanced cryptography. Prominent investors include dao5, CE Innovation Capital, and Animoca Brands, among others. To date, zkPass has raised a total of $15M.
The zkTLS protocol, which integrates 3P-TLS and Hybrid Zero-Knowledge (ZK) technologies, enables secure proof of various data types such as legal identity and financial records, ensuring confidentiality and verifiability. With over 200 schemas from 70+ data sources available, zkTLS has already generated over 2 million attestations in sectors including finance and e-commerce.
Supported by this new capital, zkPass is poised to bridge Web2 and Web3, enhancing data security in decentralized applications and reshaping internet data source business models.
