Zomedica Completes Renovation & Upgrade of Manufacturing, Distribution, and R&D Center in Plymouth, Minnesota
Zomedica Corp. (NYSE American:ZOM), a veterinary health company, has completed renovations at its 30,000-square-foot facility in Plymouth, Minnesota. The upgrades feature an expanded cleanroom, a new automated production line for TRUFORMA® consumable cartridges, and enhanced distribution facilities.
The company states that the new automated production line can produce up to one million cartridges annually. This improvement is expected to increase manufacturing capacity and shipping efficiency, meeting the growing demand for TRUFORMA cartridges.
CEO Larry Heaton highlighted the importance of these renovations in sustaining Zomedica's growth and capability to develop their assay portfolio. COO Tony Blair added that the new line is operational, marking a significant boost in manufacturing capacity and efficiency.
The TRUFORMA diagnostic platform employs Qorvo Inc.'s Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) sensor technology, offering precise diagnostic measurements that aid veterinarians in diagnosing complex conditions in animals. It provides reference-lab quality results at the point of care.
