ID Finance recognized by CFI as 2023 Global Award Winner for Best ESG Inclusive Finance Solutions
28th of April 2023 – ID Finance, leading Spanish fintech, has been recognized by UK magazine Capital Finance International, CFI.co, as the 2023 global award winner for Best ESG Inclusive Finance Solutions.
The prize distinguishes ID Finance efforts in sustainability as the first carbon-neutral fintech in Spain in Mexico, after receiving the COMPENSO badge from the Spanish Ministry of Environment in 2022. This badge was granted after carrying out an audited analysis of the company’s CO2 emissions generated by its operations. ID Finance offsets it’s greenhouse gas emissions through reforestation and conservation projects both in Spain and Mexico.
The judging panel of CFI has also considered ID Finance 20% year-over-year increase in revenue up to €170M globally, as well as the consolidation in Spain of its lending platform as the top alternative lending brand in that market. In addition, the UK media outlet has also considered for this award ID Finance flagship financial wellness app Plazo, launched in 2021 in Spain to offer seamless transactional, saving and credit solutions for people’s daily needs.
