Martina Barth appointed member of the Executive Board of the Orell Füssli Group
Zurich, 3 December 2024 - The Board of Directors of the Orell Füssli Ltd has appointed Martina Barth (1966) to the Executive Board of the Orell Füssli Group with effect from 1 January 2025.
Martina Barth took up her position as Head of Publishing at the Orell Füssli Group in November 2020. Over the past four years she has made a significant contribution to the success and realignment of Orell Füssli's publishing operations. Under Martina Barth's leadership the division was returned to profitability and growth. Martina Barth was also the driving force behind the successful acquisition of hep Verlag in Berne in 2022 and the digitisation strategy of the publishing houses.
Martina Barth is a profound expert in the Swiss publishing industry and an accomplished publishing manager. She has many years of experience and extensive expertise in publishing and digital media. Martina Barth holds an Executive Master of Science in Strategy & Modern Marketing from CEIBS in Zurich and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
The Board of Directors and the Group Executive Board warmly welcome Mrs Barth to her new position and wish her continued success and pleasure in her new role.
