ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024 - first two milestones in Italy and Spain reached successful
Tour kick-off with European sales partners underlines ambitions and aspirations
The "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" kicked off in Italy. The route took the Alfa Romeo Stelvio through the hilly Piedmont region bordering the foothills of the Alps to Asti and Barolo in northern Italy, Lombardy and finally past Lake Maggiore to Tagliabue Gomme Gross (TGG), one of Italy's largest tyre dealers based in Villasanta near Milan. There, not far from the Monza F1 circuit, is one of the most important reference points in the Italian tyre industry, which the sales partner Tagliabue Gomme has conquered in its more than 100 years of existence thanks to its branches in Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Piedmont and Lazio. "In addition to deepening personal relationships, the agenda included the further development of a future roadmap for the SAILUN Group's upcoming tyre innovations and the expansion of relationships with SAILUN management with the aim of further strengthening the good cooperation for the challenges ahead," says Nicolò Arrigoni, Head of Marketing at Tagliabue.
From Italy, the "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" continued on to Spain. With an all-electric Hyundai IONIQ in the name of e-mobility and SAILUN's new EV range, the journey continued along the Spanish Mediterranean coast to the Costa Blanca - past the salt flats of Santa Pola and Osborne bulls constantly lining the road to Alicante, where the SAILUN roadshow team made its second stop at the headquarters of Grupo Soledad, one of the largest and leading tyre distributors. Grupo Soledad has been the exclusive distributor of the extensive SAILUN tyre range since 2019. The distribution network comprises more than 100 own branches, supplemented by a franchise network of around 2,000 sales outlets in Spain and Portugal. José Pérez Lucena, Commercial Director of Grupo Soledad: "We are very pleased that "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" offers us the opportunity not only to get an idea of the current tyre range and its specific characteristics on site, but also to enter into direct dialogue with SAILUN Europe. Participating and visiting Alicante was an incredible experience and a great feeling for everyone involved. Everyone feels that they are part of the large European SAILUN team," emphasised José Pérez Lucena and is already looking forward to being a reliable sales partner for the SAILUN Group's tyre and fleet management at THE TIRE COLOGNE.
Media representatives and the international audience will find out all the facts and background information about "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" at THE TIRE COLOGNE on 4 June 2024 as part of the SAILUN press conference. In addition to the benefits of EcoPoint3 technology for the SAILUN tyre portfolio, the focus will be on the findings of the European tour in terms of performance, competitiveness and resource conservation. Up to 20 new models will also be presented in Hall 07.1, Stand C040. These include the latest generations of PCR, TBR and special products, as well as a tyre development for electric vehicles and hybrids that sets new standards. "We see ourselves as ambassadors in the field of tyre innovation and are convinced that our striving for constant improvement in tyre technology will leave a lasting mark. Our aim is to underline our clear premium claim and to offer both our partners and European consumers a comprehensive and unique range of tyres. In doing so, it is important to emphasise that our focus throughout the SAILUN Group's entire product range, from development to sales, is always on product performance. This approach will secure decisive competitive advantages in the future and guarantee new, sustainable growth potential for everyone involved. It is not for nothing that our motto is: Make great tyres!", says Stephan Cimbal.
Tour kick-off with European sales partners underlines ambitions and aspirations
Frankfurt, 13 May 2024 In the run-up to the leading international trade fair THE TIRE COLOGNE, which opens its doors to the international public in Cologne on 4 June, SAILUN Europe has launched "ROAD TO COLOGNE 2024" to consolidate and further expand the ambitious goals for the SAILUN Group's innovative tyre range with its dealer partners in the European core markets. The SAILUN team has been touring Europe since the beginning of May, stopping off in Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Poland and Germany to show what the new SAILUN tyre generations can do in tough everyday use on and off the road. "We not only want to impress the international audience with our major appearance at the leading trade fair THE TIRE COLOGNE from 4 to 6 June 2024 in Cologne, but also make a lasting impression in advance on a spectacular road trip through the six key European markets," emphasises Stephan Cimbal, Marketing Director SAILUN Europe. The aim is to show the European dealer network the broad spectrum and diverse potential of the SAILUN tyre range for electric, hybrid and conventional drives with EcoPoint3 technology and to bring it into focus in the run-up to THE TIRE COLOGNE. The five-week 'ROAD TO COLOGNE' will first stop off in Italy and Spain in mid-May to underline not only the premium status of the SAILUN brand but also the future ambitions of the SAILUN Group, which is already one of the top 12 tyre manufacturers in the world.
