Mobility of the future - SAILUN at technology event HEY HAMBURG
Insights and outlooks of the tyre company around the innovative EcoPoint3 technology

Frankfurt, 29 June 2023 SAILUN presented itself at the HEY/HAMBURG 2023, to which the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce invited the mobility industry for the third time. Together with around 30 exhibitors, the Chinese tyre company revealed interesting insights and outlooks into its innovative tyre portfolio. Whether Airbus, Deutsche Bahn, DEKRA, Renault Trucks, Shell, Vattenfall or VW, whether futurologists, bloggers or representatives of transport companies - the two-day Mobility Festival offered SAILUN the ideal platform to exchange ideas about new innovations and visions: "We are very pleased to be a partner of this innovative Mobility Festival and to shed light on the mobility ecosystem and its interconnections with experts. As a global player in the tyre industry, SAILUN is also concerned with products that will have a lasting and decisive impact on the mobility of tomorrow and make an active contribution. The event, which is supported by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, offers the perfect stage for this," emphasized Stephan Cimbal, Director Marketing SAILUN Europe. In his presentation to leading figures and decision-makers from politics and business, he also showed examples of best practice and highlighted why the new EcoPoint3 technology is making a mark with international tyre experts and tyre testers in terms of reliability and energy efficiency, and what future goals and ambitions the SAILUN brand, which is now ranked 11th among global tyre companies, is pursuing.

HEY HAMBURG brought together the leading minds and decision-makers from politics and business at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce on 22 and 23 June 2023 and provided the perfect stage for targeted networking, matchmaking and new business. With numerous demo and test drives - including the all-electric VW ID.3, ID.4 and ID.5 or a 16-tonne truck from Renault E-Trucks for urban, local distribution transport and for the "last mile" - the entire range of mobility was made tangible for the numerous visitors. The focus was also on the development and background of the innovative rubber compound developed by the SAILUN Group on the basis of EcoPoint3 technology. In his keynote speech "Sustainable performance for the tyres of the future", Stephan Cimbal, Director Marketing SAILUN Europe, highlighted the special features of the production processes already used in the new tyre generations.

"Our new products are exemplary in meeting the high demands on tyres for the increasing number of e-cars worldwide and also reduce energy consumption (7% more range) for them as well as the consumption of combustion vehicles (up to 0.5 litres for cars and up to 2 litres for trucks per 100 km). And these are not visions or experimental models, the products are already available on the market. Just recently, CEV's (Sany) electric truck won the Guinness World Record for range covered over 800 km on a single battery charge on SAILUN truck tyres (SFL1) with EcoPoint3 technology." In addition, optimised treads as well as revised structures also contribute to reduced rolling noise, shorter braking distances, better grip on dry, wet or icy roads, as well as improved cornering stability and less abrasion, resulting in lower particulate emissions. In addition, there are significant energy savings already during the manufacturing process, the reduction of the use of fossil raw materials and a maximum of automation in the modern tyre factories. "Our formula for success is: sustainable performance based on our own technologies, reasonable prices and smart brand experiences along the entire customer journey," Stephan Cimbal underlined the essence of SAILUN to the numerous representatives from business, politics and industry.
