VOGO signs New Contract with Divisione Calcio a 5 (body of

Italian Football Federation) for the deployment of its VOGOSPORT ELITE video refereeing solution

VOGO (ISIN: FR0011532225 - ALVGO) announces the signing of a contract with Divisione Calcio a 5 - body of Italian Football Federation (FIGC) responsible for the organization and management of futsal competitions in Italy - for the deployment of its VOGOSPORT ELITE video refereeing solution. After football, rugby and handball, VOGO is diversifying into an additional sport, demonstrating the relevance of its technological solutions across all disciplines.

The Divisione Calcio a 5 has selected VOGO to deploy, in collaboration with the AIA[1] (Associazione Italiana Arbitri), its VOGOSPORT ELITE video solution for men's and women's futsal matches in its competitions. Beyond being a decision-making tool for referees, this solution introduces the video challenge for coaches.

On this occasion, Christophe Carniel (Chairman and CEO of VOGO) said: “We are very proud to equip the Divisione Calcio a 5 with our VOGOSPORT ELITE video solution. Divisione Calcio a 5 has trusted us for many years: they were already using our VOKKERO audio systems. This new commitment is the proof to the relevance of our solutions and the great adaptability of our products across all sports.”

For his part, Stefano Castiglia (President of the Divisione Calcio a 5) added: “I am proud of the fact that Italian futsal was among the first to introduce Video Support in major events, effectively becoming a leader in the use of this tool worldwide. I strongly wanted this project to be implemented: the technical partnership with VOGO was decisive, together with the dialogue between FIFA, FIGC, AIA and Divisione Calcio a 5, to turn the dream into reality a few months after the start of my presidency. During the men's Coppa Italia finals, Italian futsal entered a new era: given the great success and perfect functioning of Video Support, I have decided to use it also for the women's Coppa Italia finals, scheduled for this week in Puglia. This tool will make futsal even more spectacular, offer valid support to referees and create even more interest around our sport”.
