Significant Phosphate Discoveries by First Phosphate Corp. in Quebec

On April 23, 2024, First Phosphate Corp. has published promising results from its drilling program at the Bégin-Lamarche project, in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. The company has completed 23,398 meters of drilling, with results already analyzed on 9,155 meters. Results include a notable intersection of 11.82% P2O5 over 92.5 meters in the Mountain Zone, starting at 6.5 meters depth. This discovery could facilitate the start of open-cast mining.

In addition to the Mountain Zone, significant results were obtained in the North and North-West Zones, with 7.76% and 9.18% P2O5 respectively. The South Zone also revealed a content of 4.60% P2O5 over 190.8 meters. With 4,691 samples still under analysis, further results are expected, contributing to future NI 43-101 compliant resource estimates.
