ASCENDANT RESOURCES ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF SECOND AND FINAL TRANCHE OF NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT
Ascendant Resources Inc. (TSX:ASND) has closed the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, issuing 15,817,625 common shares for a total of $1,265,410. The company plans to use the proceeds to complete an optimized feasibility study report focusing on improved metallurgy and mine sequencing in Q2/2024 and for general corporate purposes. Insiders of the company subscribed for 3,375,000 common shares at the offering price, constituting a related party transaction. The securities issued are subject to Canadian securities laws, and the shares are not registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933. Ascendant Resources Inc. Announces Submission of the Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") for its Lagoa Salgada VMS Project, in Portugal
Ascendant Resources Inc. has submitted the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIA) for its Lagoa Salgada Project to the Portuguese Environmental Authority, APA. The approval of the EIA is expected by the end of June 2024, followed by the RECAPE phase for a formal construction decision. The EIA includes extensive environmental baseline studies and collaboration with local organizations. Additionally, the company is also submitting plans to construct a 30MW PV (photovoltaic) plant, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. This submission marks a significant step forward for the Lagoa Salgada Project. -
