Great Atlantic Receives Additional Trenching Permit 100% Owned Golden Promise Gold Property
Great Atlantic Resources Corp. has received approval for additional trenching at its flagship Golden Promise Gold Property in central Newfoundland. The new permit is for the southern region of the property to test an area of reported geophysical anomalies and includes up to five excavator trenches within Mineral Licences 036105M. This approval follows the identification of geophysical anomalies in a 2003 airborne survey and the confirmation of gold mineralization at the Gabbro Zone Gold Occurrence in 2019. The trenching program is planned for the 2024 field season and aims to explore the reported contact of the Stanley Waters Formation and the Lawrence Harbour Formation. The Golden Promise Property is located within the Exploits Subzone, an area known for significant gold discoveries, including those of Marathon Gold Corp., Sokoman Minerals Corp., and New Found Gold Corp.
