Mawson’s Subsidiary SXG Provides Geological Update for the Sunday Creek Project
Mawson Gold Limited announces a geological update provided by its subsidiary, Southern Cross Gold Ltd., regarding vein morphology and continuity at its 100% owned Sunday Creek Project in Victoria, Australia. The update focuses on the background for an upcoming Exploration Target, describing continuity of vein sets and grades across multiple datasets. Southern Cross Gold is applying multiple datasets to build the Sunday Creek geological and mineralization model. This includes geostatistics, coefficient of variation, stereonets, geological controls on mineralization, quality control data, predictability, and geological likeness. The Company also provided information on old mining areas, pre-resource studies, and in-house and external expertise. Additionally, SXG considers gold and antimony for gold equivalent calculations, adopting the same variables used by Mandalay Resources Ltd for the Costerfield mine correlation.
